NVIDIA is releasing a new ForceWare driver for the 32-bit platform. This is build 91.45 and was intended for the GeForce 7950 GX2 and Quad SLI owners out there there's are a number of fixes. We have a discussion thread open on these drivers which an be found right here.

The .inf file of this archive was modified to make it compatible with most common GeForce graphics cards.

Issues Resolved in Version 91.45

The following are changes made and issues resolved since driver version 91.33:

Single-GPU Issues Resolved

  • NVIDIA Quadro FX 1500: With the DVI as the primary display and a CRT as the secondary, the NVIDIA Display Optimization Wizard fails to run.

SLI Technology Issues Resolved

  • GeForce 7950 GX2 Quad NVIDIA SLI, NVIDIA Control Panel: After setting SLI16x AA on a custom or predefined profile, the setting reverts to SLI8x when reopening the panel.
  • GeForce 7950 GX2 Quad NVIDIA SLI, NVIDIA Control Panel: The Profile list box stops rendering when attempting to add a profile executable name that is already listed.
  • GeForce 7950 GX2 Quad NVIDIA SLI, NVIDIA Control Panel: Custom profiles cannot be removed.
  • GeForce 7950 GX2 Quad NVIDIA SLI, NVIDIA Control Panel: Selecting SLI8x and then selecting SLI32x will display 16x when running a 3D application.
  • GeForce 7950 GX2 Quad NVIDIA SLI: The system crashes and reboots when minimizing or maximizing the Media Center player while playing live or recorded TV.
  • GeForce 7950 GX2 Quad NVIDIA SLI: There is occasional texture dropout in World of Warcraft when flying over the landscape. GeForce 7950 GX2 Quad NVIDIA SLI: There is corruption in Counter-strike v1.6.
  • GeForce 7950 GX2 Quad NVIDIA SLI: The bottom half of the loading screen fails to render in Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter when SLI is enabled.
  • GeForce 7950 GX2 Quad NVIDIA SLI : There is flickering at the bottom half of the screen in Elder Scrolls: Oblivion when the inventory screen is open.
  • GeForce 7950 GX2 Quad NVIDIA SLI: The screen shakes when running World of Warcraft at a resolution of 1920x1200.
  • GeForce 7950 GX2 Quad NVIDIA SLI: A black line bisects the screen after entering 3D mode in World of Warcraft and Eve Online.
  • GeForce 7950 GX2 Quad NVIDIA SLI: The screen vibrates up and down by several pixels and there is a black line running through the screen in various 3D applications on Dell 2407 WFP, Dell 2405 WFP, Dell 2007 WFP, Dell 2005 WFP, and Phillips 230W monitors.
  • GeForce 7900 GTX: Several games (The Chronicles of Riddick, Quake 4, and Dinobones) display a ghosting effect when running with 8x SLI AA enabled.
  • GeForce 7950 GX2 Quad NVIDIA SLI: There are blurred/double vision effects in Knights of the Old Republic 2 when 16x or greater SLI AA is enabled.
